DIN Checklist


Basic Pre-Requisites
✔ Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) of the applicant (Class 3)✔ Valid Email ID and Mobile Number of Applicant
 
    Identity Proof (Mandatory)
For Indian Nationals
Any one of the following other than PAN Card (Self-attested):
    PAN Card (Mandatory)
    Passport
    Voter ID Card
    Driving License
    Aadhaar Card
PAN is compulsory for Indian applicants and is used to verify name, father’s name and date of birth.
 
    Address Proof (Mandatory)
Any one of the following in the name of the applicant:
    Electricity Bill
    Telephone / Mobile Bill
    Gas Bill
    Bank Statement
    Rent Agreement (with utility bill)
Important conditions:
✔ Address proof not older than 2 months (for Indian applicants)✔ Must contain full residential address
 
    Photograph of Applicant
✔ Recent passport size color photograph✔ White background preferred✔ JPEG / scanned format

    Full Name (as per PAN)
    Father’s Name
    Date of Birth
    Gender
    Nationality
    Occupation
    Educational Qualification
    Permanent Address
    Present Residential Address

    Special Requirements for Foreign Nationals / NRIs
Additional documents required:
    Passport (Mandatory)
    Address proof in foreign country
    All documents notarized / apostilled / consularized
    If documents are in foreign language → English translation required
